Kings Ransome

The kids from Kings Ransome cut their teeth on the Greenville music scene as part of various other groups — namely Vannare (for founding members Porter Dowdy and Davis Huggins), Guns For Hire (for Matt Malphrus and Leo Santana) and as a solo artist (for frontman Trey Duncan). The guys synthesized Kings Ransome in March of 2019 and never looked back. Right out of the gate they wrote and released their debut EP Heads, and opened for acts like Tony McAlpine at the Radio Room.

They pack a modern sound with a vintage appeal into their energetic shows and have found recent success partnering with Anderson Rockers Seven Year Witch, stamping their brand of rock n roll on Upstate favorites like FR8Yard, Tribbles, and Club 134.

Their new EP Tales releases on streaming services in February of 2020, but its lead single, "All Tied Up", is already blasting through radios across the Upstate. The single swaggers along through the catchy, chorus hook, and bites when you least expect it. It's a teaser for the tight maturity displayed in their sophomore EP, and a staple in their quickly-growing fanbase's playlists.
